Bingshan Songyang Biotechnology (Dalian) Co., Ltd., referred to as “Songyang Bio,” specializes in the fields of life sciences and biotechnology, providing specialized equipment and comprehensive solutions for the R&D and industrialization of biopharmaceuticals and cell therapies.
Founded in December 2018 with a registered capital of RMB 30 million, the company is headquartered in the Dalian Economic & Technological Development Zone. It primarily serves biopharmaceutical companies, healthcare institutions, university laboratories, and research institutes, having established technology platforms for biological sample preservation, disinfection and sterilization, and cell culture and expansion. The company engages in the R&D, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service of medical devices and laboratory equipment used in the biopharmaceutical sector. Committed to building the Alphavita brand, the company strives to deliver high-quality domestically produced alternatives to imported products while actively expanding into international markets. To date, its marketing and service network spans the entire Chinese market, with products also exported to Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and South America.
II. Overview of Main Products
The company’s main products are categorized into four types:
Category 1: Biological Sample Storage Cabinets, including ultra-low temperature freezers, low-temperature freezers, refrigerated and frozen storage cabinets, refrigerators, and liquid nitrogen tanks. These are primarily used for the storage of biological samples such as biomacromolecules, cells, tissues, organs, and blood, as well as vaccines, insulin, other biologics, and reagents.
Category 2: Vertical Pressure Steam Sterilizers. These are suitable for disease control centers, inspection and quarantine agencies, hospital laboratories, university biological laboratories, and other medical and health institutions as well as biomedical research facilities at all levels. They can be used to sterilize liquids, culture media, glassware, metal instruments, and contaminated waste.
Category 3: Incubators, including carbon dioxide incubators, which primarily simulate the in vivo environment of cells through precise control of temperature, humidity, and gas concentrations. They are suitable for the in vitro culture of cells and biological tissues and serve as indispensable core instruments in fields such as biomedical research, cancer research, drug development, and vaccine production. Medical constant-temperature incubators are mainly used for cultivating microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi, and are commonly found in hospital microbiology laboratories for the cultivation and identification of pathogenic bacteria, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and microbial detection in areas such as food safety and water quality analysis. They are essential equipment for clinical diagnosis and basic microbiological research.
Category 4: Biosafety Cabinets and Cell Manipulation Workstations. These products are designed to provide a safe and reliable specialized working environment for handling biological samples that are infectious or pose potential hazards, offering triple protection for operators, samples, and the surrounding environment. They are indispensable core safety equipment in microbiology, biomedical laboratories, and public health settings.
In addition, the company also operates laboratory equipment such as floral-patterned ice makers and centrifuges, as well as other medical devices and laboratory instruments.
Based on these products, we also offer comprehensive turnkey solutions for biobanks and CPC cell modulation centers, with numerous successful implementations in both domestic and international markets.
III. Status of Technological Innovation
The company places great emphasis on technological innovation and intellectual property investment, having currently been granted 113 patents, including 49 invention patents; in addition, it holds 20 software copyrights and has participated in the development of 2 national standards, 3 industry standards, and 2 group standards.
