Sonyo Cold Chain (Dalian) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bingshan Songyang Cold Chain”) was founded in 1994 and is among the first commercial refrigeration cabinet manufacturers in China. Benefiting from the brand equity of Sanyo, Panasonic, and Bingshan, Bingshan Songyang Cold Chain has grown into a leading player in China’s light-duty commercial refrigeration equipment industry. In 2023, the company launched its own brand, Bfresh, to more clearly communicate its corporate mission of “creating a fresh lifestyle” and to accelerate its strategic positioning toward premiumization, intelligentization, and green development.
Bingshan Songyang Cold Chain has established 14 specialized laboratories, including three national-level energy-efficiency labs, and holds 120 proprietary intellectual property rights. The company has also participated in the development of 34 national, industry, and association standards. Adhering to a “market-oriented R&D” approach, it focuses on the design and development of energy-efficient products and customized hardware-and-software solutions. Operating under Panasonic’s Quality Management System (P-QMS), the company is committed to exceeding customer expectations. With a nationwide marketing and service network, it provides year-round, 24/7 one-stop support.
In the area of ESG—environmental, social, and governance—Bingshan Songyang Cold Chain has developed multiple green stores equipped with transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems, achieving a per-store carbon emission reduction of more than 10%. The company has also promoted R290 eco-friendly refrigerant products, resulting in a reduction of over 250,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions. Its independently developed “integrated hardware-and-software” ICECO IoT smart control energy-saving system delivers energy savings of 15% to 25%, equivalent to planting 480,000 trees, reducing carbon emissions by 8,000 metric tons, and saving 8.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. Furthermore, the proportion of green electricity used in production has exceeded 50%, thereby reducing the company’s carbon footprint.
Bingshan Songyang Cold Chain has obtained certifications under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, as well as the AEO Advanced Certification. The company has also been recognized as a High-tech Enterprise, a National-level Green Factory, a National-level Postdoctoral Research Station, a Provincial-level Smart Factory, a Provincial-level Industrial Design Center, a Provincial-level Enterprise Technology Center, a Provincial-level Industrial Internet Platform, a Provincial-level Benchmark Enterprise for Digital Transformation, a Provincial-level Model Unit for Open and Democratic Factory Management, a Dalian City Zero-Waste Factory, a Dalian City Demonstration Enterprise for Synergistic Digital and Green Development, and a recipient of the Dalian Mayor’s Quality Award. In addition, Bingshan Songyang Cold Chain serves as a Vice President unit of the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, a Vice President unit of the All-China Federation of Kitchenware Industry Chambers of Commerce, a member of the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, a member of the Chinese Society of Refrigeration, and a Vice President unit of the Dalian Chain Store Association.
