World-Leading Smart Manufacturing Facility for Vending Machines Opens in Double-D Port

On the morning of July 5, 2017, an internationally leading smart manufacturing facility for the vending machine industry—invested in and built by Dalian Fuji Iceberg Vending Machine Co., Ltd.—was officially commissioned at the Shuangdi Port Industrial Park. The new plant is constructed to Industry 4.0 standards and represents the largest single-building facility in the industry, both domestically and globally. With an annual production capacity of 100,000 units of various types of vending machines, it ranks among the world’s top performers.

Wang Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Jinpu New Area, Liu Yan, Vice Mayor of the Dalian Municipal People’s Government, along with other municipal leaders, representatives of the investing parties, and representatives of strategic partners, attended the commissioning ceremony.

The commissioning of the new plant will not only add 100,000 units of additional production capacity but also enable intelligent energy management through FEMS, thereby building an environmentally friendly facility. By embracing cutting-edge processing technologies, the plant will further reduce production costs, reinforcing Fujii Iceberg’s leading position in the industry. At the same time, the new and existing plants will more clearly define their respective areas of expertise, strengthening capabilities in product R&D, testing, and manufacturing. This will allow us to deliver customized, diversified, and intelligent self-service vending machines to global customers with greater precision and efficiency, enabling us to capture the commanding heights in both market share and technological innovation in the unmanned retail sector.
