Panasonic Cold Chain (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Has Been Awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Model Award and the Responsible Star Title.

     Panasonic Cold Chain (Dalian) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Panasonic Cold Chain”) has been awarded the “Model of Corporate Social Responsibility” prize jointly presented by the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Panasonic Appliances (China) Co., Ltd., while Jiang Zhimin, an employee of the company’s Manufacturing Department, has been named a “Star of Responsibility.”
Founded in 1994, Panasonic Cold Chain, as a public-spirited enterprise, actively fulfills its market, social, and environmental responsibilities. In 2015, the company launched a volunteer initiative and has since organized a series of activities, including tree-planting and beach cleanups, environmental education programs, community clean-ups, litter collection, traffic guidance, support for exam takers, charity donations and sales, and monetary and material contributions. In 2016, the company was honored with the Panasonic Corporation President’s Award in the Social Contribution category.
      In its production operations, Panasonic Cold Chain has repeatedly undergone corporate social responsibility (hereinafter “CSR”) audits conducted by its customers. As customers increasingly prioritize the CSR performance of their partners, Panasonic Cold Chain’s strengths have become increasingly evident. In 2016, the company established a volunteer service center, which currently has 135 certified volunteers and has organized more than 30 volunteer activities over the past two years.
      Panasonic Cold Chain’s CSR initiatives are inspiring an increasing number of individuals to embrace and actively engage in social responsibility. Moving forward, Panasonic Cold Chain will continue to advance its CSR programs, fostering a fresh and vibrant way of life while contributing to the harmonious development of society and the environment.
