Bingshan Group Holds 2017 Business Objectives Launch Conference, Embarking on a New Centennial Vision

On January 6, 2017, Bingshan Group held its 2017 Business Objectives Announcement Conference. Ji Zhijian, Chairman of Bingshan Group, unveiled the group’s business development goals for 2017 and called on all managers and employees to work tirelessly to build Bingshan into a century-old brand and realize its long-term vision. Liu Yan, Vice Mayor of the Dalian Municipal People’s Government, sent a congratulatory letter on the occasion of the conference, which was also attended by Yang Shen, Chairman of the Dalian Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; Gao Zhiqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal State-owned Assets Commission; Yu Dehu, Deputy Director of the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and other distinguished guests. Also in attendance were shareholder representatives of Bingshan Group, new strategic partners, and specially appointed experts from the Dalian Center for Innovation in Heating and Cooling Technologies. A total of 1,100 members of Bingshan Group’s leadership team, equity representatives from its invested enterprises, and employee representatives took part in the conference, while employee representatives from Bingshan Group’s subsidiaries located outside Dalian and from its regional marketing centers watched the event live via a cloud-based platform.

In his congratulatory letter, Vice Mayor Liu Yan commended Bingshan Group for once again delivering an outstanding performance in innovative development in 2016, fully achieving all its set targets, realizing value-driven growth that is both high-quality and profitable, and steadily enhancing its performance and broadening its development trajectory—thereby once again serving as a model for the revitalization and development of our city. He also expressed earnest hopes for the relocation and operation of the intelligent new factory in 2017 and for the vigorous development of Bingshan Wisdom’s new business models. He urged Bingshan’s cadres and employees to steadfastly pursue innovation, progress, and breakthroughs amid change; to embody the tenacity of “rolling a stone uphill” and the pioneering spirit of leading innovation; and to build Bingshan into a globally renowned brand, thus laying a solid foundation for realizing the company’s centennial development goals and making new and greater contributions to transforming our city into a pilot zone for optimizing industrial structure and a vanguard of economic and social development.

Chairman Ji Zhijian, on behalf of the management team, summarized and reviewed Iceberg Group’s performance in 2016 and outlined the plans for 2017. He stated that in 2016 the Group vigorously advanced a range of innovative development initiatives, achieving growth that was both high-quality and highly profitable. Looking ahead to 2017, he emphasized that Iceberg will build on its core competency in refrigeration to pursue specialized development; leverage its strengths in heating to drive refined growth; and harness new opportunities to unlock fresh momentum. The Group will continue to let development set the agenda and reform provide the substance, maintain strategic resolve, uphold firm development red lines, and implement targeted measures across key areas—including industrial structure, market expansion, technological innovation, capital operations, business management, brand building, and human resource management—so as to rise to the historic responsibilities entrusted by the times and achieve remarkable success through relentless effort.
