Wuhan New World Refrigeration Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Wuhan Cold”), formerly known as the Wuhan Refrigeration Equipment Factory, was founded in 1954 and originally served as one of the major backbone enterprises under the Ministry of Machinery Industry. In 2002, it became part of Dalian Iceberg Group Co., Ltd. and is now one of the core enterprises of the Iceberg Group.

The company’s industrial park covers an area of 250,000 square meters and has received an investment of more than RMB 1 billion. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machining and testing equipment from the United States, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, and other leading countries, and features modern production lines for precision machining, compressor assembly, pressure vessel fabrication, unit assembly, as well as comprehensive product performance testing stations. The facility has an annual production capacity of over 3,000 screw-type refrigeration units (sets). Since successfully developing China’s first screw-type chiller in 1978, the company has cumulatively produced more than 60,000 units of various types, which are now distributed across all provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, Hong Kong, and Macao, and are also exported to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, and other countries.

Since 2011, in response to market demand, Wuleng has further refined its product portfolio, pursuing balanced development across both the cooling and heating segments. The company has launched comprehensive, full-temperature-range solutions for deep-enthalpy energy systems, encompassing multi-zone refrigeration as well as the recovery and utilization of waste heat and waste pressure. In addition to conventional refrigeration products, Wuleng has introduced industry-leading energy-saving solutions for waste heat and waste pressure recovery, including screw-expansion power-generation units, ultra-high-temperature heat-pump units, steam-compression units, and LNG/LPG cold-energy utilization systems. Furthermore, the company has developed a range of innovative, high-efficiency, energy-saving products, such as skid-mounted mobile natural-gas boosting and liquefaction units, CCUS treatment systems, ultra-low-temperature cascade units, and low-pressure screw blowers, thereby contributing to national energy conservation, emissions reduction, and green environmental development.

The company’s principal business: Design, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service of industrial refrigeration equipment, natural gas liquefaction units, CCUS processing systems, waste heat recovery equipment, refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors and their auxiliary equipment; design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of refrigeration, air-conditioning, and energy-saving and environmental protection systems; as well as factory building leasing and related services.
