SONGZ-Grand Ocean Thermal Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd.is a Sino-foreign joint venture established with a total investment of US$15 million by Iceberg Refrigeration and Heating Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Dalian Refrigeration Co., Ltd.), Hong Kong Dayang Limited, and Shanghai Jialeng Songzhi Automotive Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. The company specializes in the manufacture of various automotive air-conditioning systems and components.
The company was originally known as Dayang Automotive Air Conditioning (Dalian) Co., Ltd., officially established on October 10, 1993. On October 8, 2004, it was renamed Dayang Showa Automotive Air Conditioning (Dalian) Co., Ltd.; on January 1, 2012, it was renamed Keihin Dayang Heating and Cooling Industries (Dalian) Co., Ltd.; and on November 25, 2020, it formed a joint venture with Shanghai Jialeng Songzhi to establish the current company.
The company is located in Community 31 of the Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering a total area of 15,000 square meters, including 10,000 square meters of factory space and 3,000 square meters of office buildings. Guided by a corporate culture that emphasizes “integrity, pragmatism, innovation, and development,” the company adopts “commitment to improving the human living environment” as its business philosophy and aspires to become a world-class supplier of mobile air-conditioning systems. At the same time, the company upholds the quality-first principle—that “quality is the lifeblood of the enterprise”—to ensure sustainable and healthy growth.
The company obtained ISO 9002 certification in 1998, QS 9000 certification in 2000, VDA 6.1 certification in 2001, TS 16949 certification in 2003, and ISO 14001 environmental management system certification in 2007. The company is currently a key supported entity under the International Montreal Protocol. On July 12, 2012, the Foshan branch was inaugurated. It is projected that the company’s total maximum production capacity will exceed 3.6 million units (evaporators and condensers).
